Terms of use

Draft: pending legal review

This page sets out the structure of our terms of use. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not legal advice.

These terms

These terms govern use of the Simplevo Pet website and software by a business and its staff ("you"). By creating an account or using the service, you accept them.

Your account

Give accurate details and keep them up to date.

Keep your login secure and tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.

One account is for one business. Add staff as members rather than sharing a login.

What the service does

The service helps you manage bookings, care records, invoices, the customer portal and the booking widget.

We may change or add features as the product develops. We will not reduce what you rely on without telling you.

Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully and only for running your pet-care business.

Do not interfere with the service, try to reach data that is not yours, scrape it, copy it for a competing product, or resell it without our written permission.

Do not upload unlawful or harmful content, and do not use the service to send unlawful marketing.

Your data and your customers

You own the data you enter into the service.

You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect your customers' data, for your own privacy notice, and for the way you use the service to contact your customers.

You must not use the service to send marketing without the consent the law requires.

Our property

The software, design and brand belong to Implevo. You may not copy or reuse them outside the service.

You keep all rights in your own data.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and to fix problems, but this draft does not promise uninterrupted service.

Planned maintenance can interrupt the service. We will give notice where we reasonably can.

Fees

Charges are agreed when you sign up and are shown in your account. Prices are in pounds and exclude VAT unless stated.

We will give notice before changing prices.

Ending it

Either side can close the account. On closing, export the data you want to keep.

We delete or return your data as the data processing agreement describes, except records we must keep by law.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Otherwise, the service is provided as it is, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. This is a draft and is not legal advice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

This is a draft, kept in place until reviewed wording is ready. We will post an updated version when the terms change.
