Who we are

Simplevo Pet is software for UK pet-care businesses. Implevo runs the platform; each business that uses it stays the controller of its own customers' data.

This page explains what Implevo does with personal data in its own right, such as running business and staff accounts. It is not the privacy notice of any business you book with. If you are a customer, that business is the controller for your booking and you should ask it for its own notice.

The data we collect

Account and business details: names, email addresses, phone numbers, business name and address, and the role of each staff member.

Data entered into the service: customer and pet records, bookings, care notes, invoices, payments and documents. The business decides what it records here.

Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, the pages you use, and a record of sign-ins, so we can keep the service secure.

Cookies needed to sign you in and to remember your theme. We do not use advertising cookies.

Why we use it

To provide, run and secure the service.

To answer support questions and keep records of them.

To send service messages, such as a password reset or a change to the service.

To meet our legal and accounting duties, and to improve the service.

Our lawful bases

We rely on performance of a contract to run the account and the service.

We rely on our legitimate interests in keeping the service secure and improving it.

We rely on a legal obligation for records we must keep.

Where we ask for consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of sub-processors to run the platform, such as hosting and database, email delivery, and payment providers. They act only on our instructions.

The service and its data are hosted in the European Union, in Frankfurt, Germany.

We share data with professional advisers, and with authorities where the law requires it.

We never sell personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep account data for as long as the business's account is open, then only for as long as we must by law.

The business decides how long it keeps its own customers' data. Some financial records may be kept for six years, anonymised where possible.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or restrict your personal data, ask for a copy in a portable form, object to some uses, and withdraw consent.

For data a business controls, contact that business first. We help it answer your request.

You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

This is a draft, kept in place until reviewed wording is ready. We will update this page when our practices change and note the date.
